About the Experience
Your experience begins with a comprehensive pre-flight briefing lasting around 20 to 25 minutes. During this session, your professional flight instructor will guide you through essential safety procedures and introduce you to the basic controls of the helicopter, ensuring you’re well-prepared for the adventure ahead.
Once briefed, you’ll board the helicopter and get comfortably strapped in. Equipped with a headset, you’ll be able to listen in on real-time communication between your instructor and air traffic control — and engage in conversation with your pilot throughout the flight. While takeoff and landing are typically handled by the instructor, once in the air, you’ll have the incredible opportunity to take the controls and experience the unique sensation of flying a helicopter yourself.
